Everything you need to know about our locksmith and security services — straight answers, no runaround.
For residential and commercial lockouts we aim to arrive within 30 minutes of your call. Response time varies by location and traffic, but we will give you an honest ETA when you call — not a vague window.
Almost never. Trained locksmiths use non-destructive entry techniques for the vast majority of residential lockouts. We'll only resort to drilling if the lock is truly unpickable — and we'll tell you upfront before we do anything that damages the hardware.
Rekeying changes the internal pin configuration so old keys no longer work — the lock body stays. Replacing swaps the entire lock. Rekeying is typically $25–$50 per lock and is the right choice when your lock is in good condition but you want new keys (after a move, lost key, or tenant change). Replacing makes sense when the lock is damaged or you want to upgrade the security rating.
